Best time to post on Vinted: we checked, and there isn't one.

There is no clear best time to post on Vinted in our data. We checked 16,236 listings on vinted.pt to see which had sold, and the share barely moved with the hour or the day. What you ask moved it far more.

  • 16,236 listings checked
  • 28.4–30.3% sold, by part of the day
  • 26.5–30.2% sold, by day of the week
  • 22.7–35.8% sold, by price

Does the time of day matter on Vinted?

Hardly, in our figures. Whichever part of the day a listing appeared in, about the same share had sold by the time we checked it again: from 28.4% to 30.3%. The gap between the best and the worst is under 2 points.

Single hours jump around more, but with so few listings in each that we would not read anything into them. Noon was the highest at 36.8% from 792 listings, and 02:00 the lowest at 18.6% from 403.

Does the day of the week matter on Vinted?

Not much either. The share sold ran from 26.5% to 30.2%, and the weekend was not ahead: Saturday and Sunday both came in below Monday and Friday.

From vinted.pt, electronics and the other categories Pouncio reads: 16,236 listings first seen between 15 October and 3 November 2026, each read once more 1 to 14 days later. "Sold" means Vinted's item page said so at that check, so a sale after it is missed, and listings the seller deleted count as not sold. Shares are adjusted so that listings checked sooner or later compare fairly.

Why don't we name a best hour?

Because an earlier sample seemed to show one, and it did not hold. Listings first seen before 15 October 2026 looked much worse at midday and on Mondays. The next three weeks showed nothing of the kind. Our re-checks were also running badly for part of that earlier period, so we left it out rather than publish a pattern we could not trust.

Three weeks from one country is still a short look, and we will update this page as more checks come in.

What should you do instead?

Post when it suits you, and spend the effort on the price. In the same sample, items priced at €250 or more sold 22.7% of the time, against 35.8% for items from €25 to €99. Our guide to what sells on Vinted has those figures, and how to sell on Vinted covers the rest. Check your model on our Vinted price pages before you set a price.

Questions

What is the best time to post on Vinted?

We found no clear best time. Among 16,236 listings on vinted.pt, the share that had sold by our check was between 28.4% and 30.3% in every part of the day, and between 26.5% and 30.2% on every day of the week. Price mattered far more.

Is Sunday the best day to sell on Vinted?

Not in our figures. Listings first seen on a Sunday sold 27.9% of the time, against 30.2% for Monday and 30.0% for Friday. Differences that small are not worth planning around.

Does the hour I post change how fast an item sells?

We can't say for the first minutes and hours. We compared which listings had sold 1 to 14 days later, so a listing that sells within an hour of a good moment looks the same as one that sells on day three.

Are these figures true for clothes?

Not necessarily. They come from vinted.pt and mostly electronics, games and consoles, the categories Pouncio reads. Clothes could behave differently, and we do not have the same check for them.
