Why saved searches are not enough
Vinted lets you save a search. Its help centre explains that a saved search shows a number: how many new items were listed since you last opened it. That is handy for browsing. For flipping, it has two problems.
First, a search follows words. Search for a console and you also get its controllers, covers, cables, empty boxes and broken units, because they carry the same name. You end up scrolling past the junk to find the one listing worth buying.
Second, finding the deal is only half of it. When a real deal appears, everyone with the same search can see it, and you still have to open it, check the photos and pay before they do. A good deal sells to someone else in about 4 minutes.
What a smart alert does differently
A smart alert reads a listing before it bothers you. A Pouncio bot watches new listings on the Vinted of the country you live in, within seconds of them going live, and each one has to pass three things before it reaches you.
- The right item. The product and variation you asked for, not its case, its cable or its box. Pouncio picks the Vinted categories where sellers in your country really list it.
- The right price. Under the max price for that variation, from your own price list or the estimated resale.
- The checks. No request to pay outside Vinted, no box-only listing, no iCloud or carrier lock, no cracked screen, missing parts or “for parts”, and no price too good to be true on an expensive item.
On the Free plan there is no AI photo check: each find shows simple checks for the seller, the text, the price and the model, and you look at the photos yourself. Our guide to Vinted monitors covers the other ways to watch Vinted for new listings.
Where alerts reach you
Alerts come on every plan, Free included, on four channels. Use one or all of them.
In the app
Every find lands in the Pouncio app, with its checks and its price.
Telegram
A message on your phone, wherever you are.
Discord
Alerts arrive as cards with the title, photo, price, resale and profit. More in our guide to the Vinted Discord bot.
Finds in your inbox, if you would rather read them there.
Alerts do not need your computer on: they come from Pouncio and reach your phone wherever you are. Only automatic buying needs your browser open.
There is also a Pouncio community on Discord, where bots' real buys post live and the week's three biggest flips go up every Monday. Its free /price command takes a photo and tells you what the item is and what it resells for.
What an alert tells you
An alert should let you decide in seconds. A Pouncio find shows the listing's title, photo and price, and what the item resells for, so you see the estimated profit at a glance. On Free, the check chips show whether the seller, the text, the price and the model look right. Then you open the listing on Vinted and buy it by hand.
Profits are estimates: the resale comes from your own price list or Pouncio's estimate, and Vinted's buyer protection fee and shipping add to what you pay. On the EU Vinted sites we read, that fee was €0.70 plus 5% of the item price (measured by Pouncio on 9 October 2026). Our guide to Vinted fees has the full picture.
Set up an alert in one sentence
- Sign in. With an email link or a 6-digit code. There is no Pouncio password.
- Say what you want. One sentence, such as “iPhone 13, any storage, working”. The AI turns it into a bot with the right Vinted category, the model variations and a max price for each.
- Choose where alerts go. The app, Telegram, Discord or email, or all four.
- Watch the finds. Your best finds come first, and Pouncio tells you which ones sold, and how fast.
The Free plan is not a trial: 1 Vinted account, 1 bot, alerts on all four channels and one automatic buy on us. What else it includes is in our guide to a free Vinted bot.
From alert to buy
An alert tells you about a deal; it does not buy it. On Free you buy finds by hand on Vinted, and many will be bought by someone else first, because a good deal sells in about 4 minutes.
Your first automatic buy is on us: switch the bot to Buy every match and it buys one deal by itself. When that convinces you, the same bot buys every match on Plus. It pays with the card on your Vinted account, from your own browser through the Pouncio extension, within your max prices and daily budget: 4.3 seconds from listing to paid, on average. If your browser is closed, buying pauses and the alerts keep coming. See how auto-buy on Vinted works.
