What auto-buy on Vinted means
Auto-buy means a bot pays for a listing without waiting for you. It matters because a good deal sells to someone else in about 4 minutes. By the time a notification reaches you and you have opened the listing, looked at the photos and got through checkout, it is often gone. Pouncio averages 4.3 seconds from listing to paid.
It also means trusting software with your card. So most of this page is about the other half: the checks it runs, the limits it never crosses, and where the purchase actually happens.
Three ways to buy
You choose per bot, so a console that sells in minutes and a camera that sells slowly can be handled differently.
Buy every match
Buys any listing that matches the bot's words, up to each variation's max price. Simple and fast, for products you know well.
Buy deals
Buys only when the numbers show a profit, from your own price list or the estimated resale.
Auto-offer
Sends the lowest offer Vinted allows (Vinted refuses offers under 60% of the price) and nudges once if the seller goes quiet. Answers land in one inbox.
Whichever you pick, before any automatic payment Pouncio checks the seller, the listing text and the photos, with an AI looking at the photos and the description. It pays only if everything passes, and a cheap price never overrides a red flag. A request to pay outside Vinted is an instant no at any price. The traps it looks for are the ones in our guide on how to spot a Vinted scam.
What a listing really costs
The price on a listing is not what you pay. A buyer pays Vinted's buyer protection fee on top, plus shipping. On the EU Vinted sites we read, the fee was €0.70 plus 5% of the item price (measured by Pouncio on 9 October 2026): €5.70 on a €100 item, €12.70 on a €240 item. Shipping depends on the carrier and parcel size you pick, and is shown at checkout.
On Plus, your max price includes everything: Pouncio adds up the price, buyer protection and shipping before it decides. The full breakdown, UK included, is in our guide to Vinted fees for buyers.
How paying works
- It decides. The listing matches, the price is under the variation's max price and inside the account's daily budget, and the checks pass.
- Your browser checks out. The Pouncio extension, in a pinned Vinted tab, reserves the item and reads the checkout.
- It pays with your card. The card saved on your Vinted account pays, as it would if you bought by hand.
- Your bank may ask. If your bank asks for 3DS, you confirm the payment in your bank app.
- It lands in Orders. Each purchase shows its status and what to do next, from paid to delivered.
Purchases go through Vinted, so Vinted's buyer protection, returns and disputes apply as with any purchase. Pouncio buys each item once, never twice, even when several of your accounts are watching it.
Why it buys from your own browser
Many bots buy from a server in a data centre. Pouncio does not. Its browser extension keeps a pinned Vinted tab and checks out from there: your connection, your Vinted session, your device. To Vinted it looks like you buying.
- Connecting your Vinted account in the app pairs your browser too; an 8-character code is there if you need it.
- To buy, it does four things: check it's you, reserve, read the checkout and pay. Offers, messages and listings go out only from features you use.
- Closed, asleep or signed out? It reopens the tab or tells you.
- It runs in Chrome, from the Chrome Web Store, and Firefox works too.
Pouncio never sees your Vinted password: you log in on Vinted's own page and it keeps an encrypted session. Everything that is not a purchase runs from a home IP in your country, one per account. Installing and pairing are covered step by step in our guide to the Pouncio Chrome extension.
Automating Vinted is against Vinted's terms, and an account can get blocked. Buying from your own browser, test mode and strict limits keep the risk low, but it is never zero. The longer answer is in is a Vinted bot legal?
What happens when your browser is closed
Once a browser is paired, the server never buys for that account. If you close the browser, the computer goes to sleep or you sign out of Vinted, buying pauses until the browser is back, and the app tells you. Alerts keep coming either way, in the app and on Telegram, Discord or email.
So to buy automatically, keep the computer on with the browser open. If you want it to buy at night, leave it on at night.
Limits it never crosses
- Each variation's max price, not by a cent.
- The daily budget of each account.
- One purchase per item, never twice, even with several accounts.
- No payment outside Vinted, ever.
- One button pauses every bot on every account, instantly.
Start in test mode
Every new bot starts in test mode, a dry run. It shows what it would have bought and the profit, and buys nothing until you switch it live. On the Free plan your first automatic buy is on us, with the same checks, so you can see it work before you pay for anything.
Profits are estimates. Many deals are still bought by someone else first, even at 4.3 seconds.
When another buyer gets there first
On Plus, reconquest gives a bot a second try: when another buyer reserves an item first and their sale falls through, Pouncio tries again as the item comes back. Account failover means that when one of your accounts cannot buy, another of yours can. On Pro, 3 of your accounts race for the same item (5 on Executive), and only one ever pays.
Which plan buys for you
Auto-buy and auto-offer start on Plus at €49.99 a month, with 3 accounts each on its own home IP, reconquest and account failover, the true cost of every listing and a price index of what actually sold. Pro, at €129.99 a month, adds 10 accounts, unlimited bots and the 3-account race. Yearly billing is 20% off, and you can cancel any time.
Plus and Pro come with the €50 guarantee: if your bots don't find a deal with €50 profit or more in your first 30 days, your first month is refunded. Compare every plan.
